Compass Cares

Our corporate social investment initiatives focus on restoring hope and dignity. By partnering with ethical and transparent NPOs, we are able to provide hope and meaningful support to those who need it most.

Shining a spotlight on people who need extra care in the community, our partnership with the Light Trust – the philanthropic arm of Compass’ B-BBEE partner, Khanyisa Medical Holdings, is one that we are proud to be involved in.

Over the years we have supported vulnerable children and communities, and to date we have also raised over R2.5 million to help care for injured, orphaned, and vulnerable animals through our calendar campaign.

Compass Cares has partnered with the Centre for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) and to date has raised over R1.5 million through our annual calendar campaign to help CROW fulfil their mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing orphaned and injured wild animals.

This year we celebrate our 12th wildlife calendar in support of animal welfare. Please check out the breath-taking wildlife images above and click on the ‘ORDER CALENDAR’ below to place your order. The calendar makes the perfect end-of-year or Christmas gift for friends, family, colleagues and clients.

Through our Cat Calendar initiative, Compass Cares has raised an incredible R396 000 for the sterilisation of stray and feral cats to help curb the breeding epidemic which results in neglected and often abused cats and kittens.

During the calendar project we realised that there are a number of worthy organisations trying to raise money for cat sterilisation so we decided to create the “Compass Cats” brand, under Compass Cares, the CSI arm of Compass Medical Waste Services in order to help a number of NPOs.

Compass Cares Calendar Campaigns

One of the projects close to our heart, the calendars we produce, help to raise much needed funds for both domestic and wild animals. The proceeds support injured, vulnerable and orphaned animals and to date we have raised over R2.5 million for animal welfare.
